1/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup light corn syrup (substitute honey, if desired) 1/2 teaspoon salt
5 or 6 drops food dye (your favorite color)
8-10 cups popcorn, popped

Stir sugar, margarine, corn syrup, salt and food coloring in a large pot over medium heat until the margarine is melted and all of the ingredients are completely combined. Remove from heat. Add popcorn and stir until thoroughly coated. Allow to cool slightly.
